Via: Collider.com

Seems like Marvel is wasting no time to find a replacement since the departure of Jon Favreau.

Rumor has it that Shane Black might write and direct Iron Man 3. If you don’t know who Black is then you might be familiar with his work. Shane was the man who wrote both Lethal Weapon 1 and Lethal Weapon 2.

I’m not too familiar with his work so I can’t pass judgment just yet.

Robin Cameo In The Dark Knight Rises?

Via: Collider.com

I’m sure this is just a crazy rumor, but an interesting one nonetheless. Word on the street is that Robin is supposedly making an appearance in The Dark Knight Rises.

This makes sense since there is speculation that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also supposed to come out in TDKR. But we have to take into consideration that Christian Bale made it clear he won’t be in any Batman films if Robin makes an appearance.

For now we’ll file this under rumors, unless Bale had a sudden change of heart.

Tom Hardy to Play Dr. Hugo Strange in The Dark Knight Rises

Via: Collider.com

Even though Christopher Nolan hasn’t revealed what character Tom Hardy will play in The Dark Knight Rises people have started speculating as to who he might play.

The latest rumor is that Hardy will play Dr. Hugo Strange. This rumor comes from the same people who reported that The Riddler won’t be the villain and that Rachel Weisz and Anne Hathaway were in the running for the lead female role, so I might just have co-sign this.

Since not many people are familiar with Dr. Hugo Strange you can check out a little bit about him below.

Strange has actually been around since 1940 and was one of Batman’s first recurring villains.  He’s a villain in the mad-scientist mold and possesses genius-level IQ and is a master of psychology.  In the comics mythology, Strange learned Batman’s secret identity but kept it to himself.  He eventually becomes obsessed with Batman, even going to the point where he starts dressing up like the Caped Crusader.

Tom Hardy and Christopher Nolan first worked together in this years Inception and well they will be reunited for Batman 3.

According to Deadline Tom Hardy will have a lead role in the film but either than that no other details were revealed. Now it is being rumored that he will be play the main villain. If so which villain do you believe he will play? I think the obvious choice is The Riddler but we will just have to wait and see.

Joseph Gordon-Levvit To Play The Riddler?

Seems as if Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Christopher Nolan loved working with each other on the set of Inception since it’s being rumored that Levvit might indeed play The Riddler. Both Levvit and Nolan would joke around on set about Levvit playing The Riddler that Nolan became fond of the idea.

This is a great choice if you ask me but at the end of the day I’m sure it’s just a rumor. Maybe Levvit will indeed be The Riddler. Only time can tell.
