Linkin Park To Debut New Single “Burn It Down” On April 16th


MTV recently caught up with Linkin Park frontman, Chester Bennington on the set of their new video for “Burn It Down”. The first single off their highly anticipated follow-up album to “A Thousand Suns“.

Beavis and Butt-Head Officially Returning to MTV


Last year we received news that creator of Beavis and Butt-Head Mike Judge was working on 30 episodes for the show.

Well now MTV has made it official that Beavis and Butt-Head is returning this summer. The show will maintain it’s traditional style of “ghetto-tech” animation and they will do what they do best. Mock music videos.

Tonight is the night of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

Like in previous years, tonight’s show will have a House Artist. Last year it was Wale and this year we have deadmau5 (pronounced ‘dead mouse’ for those that don’t know)

Linkin Park – The Catalyst [Music Video]

[UPDATE]: “The Catalyst” is now Linkin Park’s 9th #1 song on the Alternative Songs chart. That makes LP tied with Green Day for second most all time in the chart’s 22 year history. They both trail The Red Hot Chili Peppers who have 11 #1 songs.

The first single off “A Thousand Suns” now has its own video.

J.Cole – Untitled (Problems)

As you can see from the image above, J.Cole took home MTV’s “Who Got Next” Award. So congrats to him, much deserved.

Now on to this new track. The song was leaked by, here is what they had to say about this track that is still NOT finished.

So I been sitting on this J. Cole track for over a month and in doing so I’ve manage to have a hand/say in what the final product of this may be. There’s going to be a singer featured on the hook, not sure exactly who or more so that I can’t say at this time but you’ll be surprised if it’s who I want it to be. In any case, “other” guys are calling the song “Problems” but the fact is, there isn’t a name for it but here’s a tagless version of this unfinished track.
